Red Wing Black Bird

Latin Name - Agaelius Phoeniceus

Male Description- Males bodies are pure black with red shoulders and yellow boarders under the red.

Red wings are a very territorial bird and can have up to 15 mates at a time. They build their nests either low to ground or in trees they are seen everywhere in the U.S and seen in Canada only during the summer. ITs Favorite foods involve grains, seeds, nuts, and insects. This bird has a population of 190 million and thus is nowhere near going extinct.I enjoyed this project because ive seen this bird everywhere and never knew its name. What i enjoyed about this was learning about the bird mostly like its habitats and what it eats. Overall i had fun doing this project.
