MALLARD DUCK

The Mallard duck can come in two colors. The male or drake has a green head with a body that is mixed with various colors of brown,grey,white. On the other hand the females are colored brown. The mallard is a dabbling duck meaning that they don't dive for there food they just dip there beck's into the water and eat fish and plants under the water. Mallards migrate to warm whether climates when the weather becomes cold mainly because they won't have food or be able to reproduce so the male follows the female until she has found a comfortable matting place and after the baby Is hatched the male will leave. In conclusion the mallard duck is not even close to extinction they will be on this earth for century's there only danger is in the far future and it Is that they will cross Breed with to many birds and the mallard duck will always be mixed with another bird Instead of there just being a mallard duck
